Communication Arts announced the winners of its 2015 photo contest and John Rae has been named a winner in the Annual Report category. CA photo contest attracts thousands of entries from around the world and is one of the oldest and most prestigious contests in America. The winning photograph is from Honduras of a young mother holding her newborn child. She is also a recovering TB patient. The WHO reports that of the 9 million new cases of TB in 2013 1.5 million did not survive. The photo was made on assignment for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria in January 2015.
