Doctor Yu Yu May is one of my heroes of healthcare. She is fighting TB on the front lines of the pandemic in Mandalay, Myanmar. Her community based approach is one of the most effective ways to combat the spread of TB, a disease that claims over 9 million infections per year and kills over 1.5 million people per year.
